Peter said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death.” 34 Jesus said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow this day, until you deny three times that you know me.” - Luke 22:33-34

A Life Full Of Fear

Peter Denies Knowing Jesus Three Times - Luke 22:56-60

The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times.” 62 And he went outside and wept bitterly. - Luke 22:61-62

A Life Full Of Faith

But Peter, standing with the eleven, lifted up his voice and addressed them: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words. – Acts 2:14

So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. – Acts 2:41

FROM FEAR TO FAITH

1. Realize Jesus Is Alive “It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon [Peter].” – Luke 24:34 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

2. Restore Your Purpose Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me … ?” – John 21:15+16 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” … Jesus said, “Feed my sheep. – John 21:17 Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God.
