Out Of The Valley

1 Kings 20:28 - “Thus says the Lord, ‘Because the Syrians have said, “The Lord is a god of the hills but he is not a god of the valleys,” therefore I will give all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’”

1. The Valley of Opposition :: Elah 

1 Samuel 17:3 - The Philistines occupied one hill and the Israelites another, with the valley between them. [19] They are with Saul and all the men of Israel in the Valley of Elah, fighting against the Philistines. 

Romans 8:31 - If God is for us, who can be against us? 

2. The Valley Of The Unknown :: Darkness 

Psalm 23:4 - Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 

Luke 12:22 - Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life … ” ]

3. The Valley Of Weeping :: Baka 

Psalm 84:6 - As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. 

Psalm 126:5 - Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. 

4. The Valley Of Blessing :: Berakah 

2 Chronicles 20:26 - On the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Berakah, where they praised the Lord. This is why it is called the Valley of Berakah to this day. 

2 Chronicles 20:4 - The people of Judah came together to seek help from the Lord; indeed, they came from every town in Judah to seek him. 

2 Chronicles 20:14 - Then the Spirit of the Lord came on Jahaziel … [15] … Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. 

2 Chronicles 20:21 – After consulting the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang: “Give thanks to the Lord; his faithful love endures forever!”
