JESUS LOVES UNLIKELY PEOPLE

1. Jacob A Deceiver

Matthew 1:2 - Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot Judah and his brothers.

Genesis 25:23 - The LORD said to her, "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger."

Hebrews - 11:9 - By faith he (Abraham) dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise.

2. Rehab A Prostitute

Matthew 1:5 - Salmon begot Boaz by Rahab, Boaz begot Obed by Ruth, Obed begot Jesse.

Joshua 2:1 - Then Joshua son of Nun secretly sent two spies from Shittim. “Go, look over the land,” he said, “especially Jericho.” So they went and entered the house of a prostitute named Rahab and stayed there.

Hebrews 11:30 - By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. [31] By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.

3. David A Cheater

Matthew 1:6 - Jesse begot David the king. David the king begot Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah.

Hebrews - 11:32 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: [33] who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.
