1. Agree To Work On The Problem
Proverbs 16:28 - A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.
2. Replace Problems With Peace
Proverbs 17:1 - Better a dry crust eaten in peace than a house filled with feasting—and conflict.
3. Speak Softly
Proverbs 15:1 - A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
4. Practice Generosity
Proverbs 25:21-22 - If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink, for you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you.
5. Keep Cool
Proverbs 29:22 - An angry person stirs up conflict, and a hot-tempered person commits many sins.
6. Emphasis The Good And Smile
Proverbs 15:30 - A friendly smile makes you happy, and good news makes you feel strong.
Proverbs 15:13-14 - A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed.
7. Live In Love
Proverbs 10:12 - Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.
8. Think Long Term
Proverbs 15:18 - A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but the one who is patient calms a quarrel.
9. Please The Lord
Proverbs 16:7 - When a man's ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
