Matthew 5:5 - Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

• Meekness is not weakness – Meekness is focused strength!

Matthew 11:29 - Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (KJV)

FOUR CHOICES THAT ARE ALWAYS UP TO YOU

1. Focus Your Thoughts

Philippians 2:5 - Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, [6] who, being in the form of God … [7] made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant

2. Focus Your Words

Titus 3:2 - Tell them not to speak evil of anyone, but to be peaceful and friendly, and always to show a gentle attitude toward everyone. (GNT)

Proverbs 18:21 - Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

3. Focus Your Feelings

Numbers 12:3 - Now the man Moses was very meek, more than all people who were on the face of the earth. (ESV)

4. Focus On Your Actions

James 3:13 - Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. (ESV)

Matthew 21:5 - “Say to daughter Zion, ‘Behold, your king comes to you, meek and riding on an ass, and on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’” (NAB)
