REMEMBER – JESUS IS COMING AGAIN

Luke 22:19 - This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.

 

1 Corinthians 11:26 - For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

 

Acts 1:11 - Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.

 

JESUS IS COMING AGAIN

 

* Jesus’ Coming Will Be Visible

 

Matthew 24:26 - Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. [27] For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

 

* Jesus’ Coming Will Be Unexpected

 

Matthew 24:36 - But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

WAITING FOR THE SECOND COMING

 

1. Building God’s Family 24:45-51 

Matthew 25:45 - Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?

 

2. Living With Fresh Oil 25:1-13 

Matthew 25:3 - Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, [4] but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

 

3. Investing Your Talents 25:14-30 

Matthew 25:15 - And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.

 

4. Helping People In Need 25:31-46 

Matthew 25:35 - I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; [36] I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

Matthew 24:44 - Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
