Matthew 11:30 – For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

* The key to worship is to put first things first. Matthew 5:23 - Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, [24] leave your gift there in front of the altar. FIRST go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

* The key to helping others is to put first things first. Matthew 7:4 - How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? [5] You hypocrite, FIRST take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

* The key to living in abundance is to put first things first. Matthew 6:33 - But seek FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

PUTTING FIRST THINGS FIRST

Luke 10:38-42

1. Martha: Prioritize The Great Over The Good 

Luke 10:40 - But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” Luke 10:41 - And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.” 

2. Mary: Prioritize Relationship Over Religion 

Luke 10:39 - And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. 

3. The Master: Prioritize The Needed Over The Nonessential 

Luke 10: 42 - But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.
