Serve To Change – Part 3

Joshua 24:15 – But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.

THREE PRINCIPLES OF SERVING

1. Make Wise Choices 

Joshua 24:15 - But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. 

Joshua 24:15 - Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? 

Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. [6] Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. 

2. Understand The Importance Of Today 

Joshua 24:15 - But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. 

Matthew 6:34 - So don’t be anxious about tomorrow. God will take care of your tomorrow too. Live one day at a time.

3. Live For Something Great 

Joshua 24:15 - But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.

Joshua 1:8 - This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
