WHAT FEAR DOES TO ME

1. Fear Keeps Me Stuck In A Hole

“The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.” - Judges 6:12

2. Fear Makes Me Feel Like Throwing In The Towel

[But the Lord said] “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife. – Matthew 1:19,20

3. Fear Limits My Possibilities

[Mary] “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” [The Lord answered] “The Holy Spirit will come upon you … For nothing will be impossible with God.” – Luke 1:34,35,37

4. Fear Keeps Me Stuck In The Dark

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil. - Psalm 23:4

WHAT SHOULD I BE BELIEVE

1. God’s Timing Over My Agenda

And when Jesus had crossed again in the boat to the other side, a great crowd gathered about him, and he was beside the sea. – Mark 5:21 [Jairus] implored him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live.” – Mark 5:23

2. Christ’s Power Over What Other People Think

Then came [to Jesus] one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name, and seeing him, he fell at his feet. – Mark 5:22

It is dangerous to be concerned with what others think of you, but if you trust the Lord, you are safe. – Proverbs 29:25

3. Healing Over Sickness

[Jairus] implored him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live.” – Mark 5:23

4. Faith Over Doubts

While he was still speaking, there came from the ruler's house some who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?” – Mark 5:35 “Do not fear, only believe.” – Mark 5:36

“Why are you making a commotion and weeping? The child is not dead but sleeping.” 40 And they laughed at him. But he put them all outside and took the child's father and mother and those who were with him and went in where the child was.

– Mark 5:39-40

And he did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief. - Matthew 13:58

5. Life Over Death

Taking her by the hand he said to her, “Talitha cumi,” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” 42 And immediately the girl got up and began walking. – Mark 5:41-42
