Psalm 1

Matthew 7:13 - "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

THE RIGHT WAY – PATH – ROAD OF LIFE

1. A Road Of Growth And Development

Psalm 1:1 - Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.

2. A Road Of Meditation And Prayer

Psalm 1:2 - But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.

HOW TO ENJOY MEDITATION AND PRAYER

* Find A Quiet Place Matthew 6:6 - "Here's what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won't be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace. (MSG)

* Cast Your Cares Onto God

1 Peter 5:7 - Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

* Ask The Holy Spirit To Reveal Jesus To You

John 16:14 - He (The Holy Spirit) will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

* Be Still And Know God

Psalm 46:10 - “Be still, and know that I am God.”

* Think About And Quote Scriptures

Psalm 1:2 - But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.

3. A Road Of Prosperity

Psalm 1:3 - He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

Galatians 5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control.

4. A Road Of Reward

Psalm 1:6 - For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

John 12:26 - "If any of you wants to serve me, then follow me. Then you'll be where I am, ready to serve at a moment's notice. The Father will honor and reward anyone who serves me. (MSG)
