Trusting in God Allows Him…

1. To Determine Your Direction

Proverbs 3:5,6 - Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. 

Proverbs 16:9 - In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.

2. To Settle Your Emotions 

Proverbs 16:20 - He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he. 

Proverbs 16:3 - Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established.

3. To Orchestrate Your Provision 

Proverbs 3:9-10 - Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.

Proverbs 28:25 - He who is of a proud heart stirs up strife, but he who trusts in the LORD will be prospered.

4. To Cover You With His Protection

Proverbs 29:25 - The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe.

Proverbs 30:5 - Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
