LET GO OF GREED

1. Greed Always Delays Giving 

Proverbs 3:27 - Whenever you are able, do good to people who need help. [28] If you have what your neighbor asks for, don’t say, “Come back later. I will give it to you tomorrow.” 

2. Greed Attracts Trouble 

Proverbs 15:27 - Whoever is greedy for unjust gain troubles his own household, but he who hates bribes will live. 

Proverbs 28:25 - A greedy man stirs up strife, but the one who trusts in the Lord will be enriched. 

3. Greed Follows False Dreams 

Proverbs 28:22 - A stingy man hastens after wealth and does not know that poverty will come upon him.

Proverbs 28:22 - A man with an evil eye hastens after riches, And does not consider that poverty will come upon him. (NKJV) 

LIVE GENEROUSLY

1. Generosity Sees The Best In People 

Proverbs 22:9 - Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor. (ESV) 

Proverbs 22:9 - He who has a generous eye will be blessed, For he gives of his bread to the poor. (NKJV) 

2. Generosity Invests In People 

Proverbs 11:24 - Those who give generously receive more, but those who are stingy with what is appropriate will grow needy.

Proverbs 11:25 - Be generous, and you will be prosperous. Help others, and you will be helped. 

3. Generosity Gives Today 

Proverbs 21:26 – The righteous gives and does not hold back. (ESV) 

Proverbs 21:26 - Some people are always greedy for more, but the godly love to give! (NLT)
