Whoever claims to live in him [the Lord] must live as Jesus did. - 1 John 2:6

1. Live The Word

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life. - 1 John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. - John 1:1 ______________________________________________________________________________________________________

2. Live In Fellowship

That which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. – 1 John 1:3
Father, I pray that they can be one. As you are in me and I am in you, I pray that they can also be one in us. Then the world will believe that you sent me. – John 17:21

3. Live In Joy

And we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete. – 1 John 1:4
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. - John 15:11 ______________________________________________________________________________________________________

4. Live In The Light

This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. – 1 John 1:5,7

5. Live In Excellence

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. - 1 John 2:1
You know that he [Jesus] appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. - 1 John 3:5
If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:8-9
