1. How do I discover my spiritual gifts?
1 Corinthians 14:1 - Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.
2. How do I connect with the ministry gifts of Ephesians 4?
Ephesians 4:11 - And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
3. When I pray I hear spiritual language inside, but I just can’t seem to speak it out. Why?
1 Corinthians 14:2 - For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.
4. Does 1 Corinthians 12:30 say that not everyone speaks in tongues?
1 Corinthians 12:27 - Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. 28 And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
1 Corinthians 14:5 - Now I want you all to speak in tongues, but even more to prophesy.
5. If I don’t pray in spiritual languages am I less of a Christian?
1 Corinthians 14:4 - The one who speaks in a tongue builds up himself, but the one who prophesies builds up the church.

1 Corinthians 12:7 - But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

1 Corinthians 14:1 - Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.
Romans 12:6 - We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
1. Prophetic Motivation
Romans 12:6 - If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith.
2. Serving Motivation
Romans 12:7 - If it [your gift] is serving, then serve.
3. Teaching Motivation

JOHN INTRODUCES JESUS
John 1:29 - The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! ... 33 I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
OUR NEED FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT
1. Like We Need Food
Luke 11:11 - If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? … 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
2. Like We Need Water
John 7:37 - On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. … 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit.
3. Like We Need Air
John 3:8 - The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Acts 1:8 - But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Matthew 9:35 - Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”
COMPASSION BRINGS POWER TO …
1. Be Heard
Acts 2:14 - Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say.
2. Live Generously
Acts 2:44 - And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had.
Acts 4:34 - There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold 35 and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.
3. Connect With Community
Acts 2:42 - All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.
Acts 2:46 - So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart.

POWER THROUGH SURRENDER
1. Surrender To God’s Guidance
Acts 1:4 - And while staying with them he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, “you heard from me; 5 for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
2. Surrender To God’s Timing
Acts 2:2 - When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place.
Galatians 6:9 - Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
3. Surrender To God’s Spirit
Acts 2:4 - And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance

JESUS PRAYS FOR YOU
John 17:20 - I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message.
Romans 8:34 - Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
1. Your Relationships With Others To Be Healed
John 17:21 - I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.
John 17:22 - I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one.
John 17:23 - I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.
2. Your Relationship With God To Be Healed
John 17:24 - Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began!

Alert #1: God Has Strength For You
Ephesians 6:11 - Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.

Ephesians 6:12 - For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

DANIEL’S 21 DAYS OF PRAYER
1. Vision For The Future
Daniel 10:1 - In the third year of the reign of King Cyrus of Persia, Daniel (also known as Belteshazzar) had another vision. He understood that the vision concerned events certain to happen in the future—times of war and great hardship.
2. Emotion In Your Soul
Daniel 10:2 - When this vision came to me, I, Daniel, had been in mourning for three whole weeks.
3. Focus From Fasting
Daniel 10:3 - I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.
RESULTS OF 21 DAYS OF PRAYER
