Matthew 13:33 - [Jesus] told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.”
1. God Uses Surprising People
Exodus 12:15 - For seven days you are to eat bread made without yeast. On the first day remove the yeast from your houses, for whoever eats anything with yeast in it from the first day through the seventh must be cut off from Israel.
1 Corinthians 1:27 - But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
2. God Brings Inner Changes
Matthew 13:33 - Then Jesus told another story: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and hid in a large tub of flour until it made all the dough rise.”
Philippians 2:13 - For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
3. God Chooses To Need You
John 12:24 - Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD …
Matthew 13:31 - Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field.”
1. Small Things Become Great
Matthew 12:32 – [The mustard seed] indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.
2. God’s Sees More In You

1. Start Something New Everyday
2 Kings 2:1 - When the Lord was about to take Elijah up to Heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal.
2. Give Your Life Away Everyday
2 Kings 2:2,3 - So they went down to Bethel, 3 Then the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha and said to him. Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” And he said, "Yes I know; be still."
3. Look For God In Everyday
2 Kings 2:4,5 - They went on together to Jericho. 5 Then the group of prophets from Jericho came to Elisha and asked him, “Did you know that the Lord is going to take your master away from you today?” .... “Of course I know,” Elisha answered, “but be quiet about it.”
4. Surrender Your Life Everyday
2 Kings 2:7 - They went on together, 50 men from the group of prophets also went and watched from a distance as Elijah and Elisha stopped beside the Jordan River.

Matthew 13:24 - Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;
TWO LIFE INPUTS
1. The Good Seed :: God’s Word
Matthew 13:37 - He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom.
2. The Bad Seed :: The Enemy’s Words
Matthew 13:25 - But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.
Matthew 13:27 - The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ 28 - “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.
Matthew 13:38 - The weeds are the people of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil.
TWO LIFE OUTCOMES
Matthew 13:28 - The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’
Matthew 13:29 - ‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’
1. Without God :: Hell
Matthew 13:41 - The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
2. With God :: Heaven
Matthew 13:30 - Gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.
Matthew 13:43 - Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.

MAKING MEMORIES WITH THOSE YOU LOVE
1. Making Memories :: Be Intentional
Luke 2:46 - Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers.
John 2:3 - And when they ran out of wine … 5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”
2. Making Memories :: Leaving A Legacy
Luke 23:42 - Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” 43 And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”
3. Making Memories :: Don’t Get Stuck In The Past
Luke 23:34 - Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
Proverbs 21:2 - A person thinks everything he does is right, but the Lord weighs hearts.
Acts 1:13 - And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying [list of disciples] …14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

SOIL AND SEED
The Kingdom Of God Is Like …

Matthew 13:10 - And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” 11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
Mark 4:13 - And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?
Everything starts with a seed.
The Kingdom is to be shared.
The Kingdom brings growth.
Blessings multiply on new levels.
The enemy opposes God's Word.
Believers need to overcome troubles.
Worry opposes the Word.
Materialism opposes the Word.
There is a danger that we could settle for less.
NEVER STOP GROWING
1. Hard Areas
Matthew 13:19 - When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path.
2. Shallow Areas
Matthew 13:20 - But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.
3. Weedy Areas
Matthew 13:22 - Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
4. Good Areas
Matthew 13:23 – But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.

between yourself and God.
Romans 14:15 - Yet if your brother is grieved because of your food, you are no longer walking in love. Do not destroy with your food the one for whom Christ died.
KNOW WHERE YOU ARE
1. The Kingdom Of God Is – Righteousness
2 Corinthians 5:21 - For He made Him [Jesus] who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Timothy 2:22 - Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
2. The Kingdom Of God Is – Peace
Isaiah 26:3 - You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
3. The Kingdom Of God Is – Joy
John 15:11 - These things I [Jesus] have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
4. The Kingdom Of God Is – In The Holy Spirit
John 14:26 - But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING
Romans 14:19 - Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.
