Revelation 5:7 - Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. 

3. Jesus On A White Horse :: Jesus Wins Over Darkness 

Revelation 19:11 - Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 

4. Jesus As King Of Kings And Lord Of Lords :: Jesus Wins Everything

Revelation 19:16 - And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: “KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Revelation 3:10 - Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world.

1. Hope Believes In: Community

WHEN WE COME TO CHRIST …

1. We Receive Physical Rest

Psalm 3:5 - I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me. [6] I will not fear though tens of thousands assail me on every side.

2. We Receive Emotional Rest

Psalm 62:1 - Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. [2] Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

Isaiah 26:3 - You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. 

3. We Receive Spiritual Rest

Philippians 4:7 - And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Romans 5:1 - Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 11:30 – For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

* The key to worship is to put first things first. Matthew 5:23 - Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, [24] leave your gift there in front of the altar. FIRST go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

* The key to helping others is to put first things first. Matthew 7:4 - How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? [5] You hypocrite, FIRST take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

* The key to living in abundance is to put first things first. Matthew 6:33 - But seek FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

PUTTING FIRST THINGS FIRST

Luke 10:38-42

1. Martha: Prioritize The Great Over The Good 

Luke 10:40 - But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” Luke 10:41 - And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.” 

2. Mary: Prioritize Relationship Over Religion 

Luke 10:39 - And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. 

3. The Master: Prioritize The Needed Over The Nonessential 

Luke 10: 42 - But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.
