1. Guard Your Geography
2 Samuel 11:1 - In the spring of the year, when kings normally go out to war, David sent Joab and the Israelite army to fight the Ammonite … However, David stayed behind in Jerusalem.
2. Guard Your Focus
2 Samuel 11:2 - Late one afternoon, after his midday rest, David got out of bed and was walking on the roof of the palace. As he looked out over the city, he noticed a woman of unusual beauty taking a bath.
3. Guard Your Heart
2 Samuel 11:3 - He sent someone to find out who she was, and he was told, “She is Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite.” (4) Then David sent messengers to get her; and when she came to the palace, he slept with her.
4. Guard Your Future
2 Samuel 11:5 - Later, when Bathsheba discovered that she was pregnant, she sent David a message, saying, “I’m pregnant.”

SOME STUFF I’VE LEARNED …
* Differences don’t need to divide. It’s your choice to fight over them or celebrate them.
* If you expect your mate to meet all of your needs - you'll be bitterly disappointed.
* Little stuff becomes big stuff without communication and forgiveness.
* Get help when you need it.
* Take time to give love. Without time and generosity, you won’t have love.

1. You’ve Got To – Leave
Isaiah 43:18-19 - Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?

DREAMING THROUGH THE SIX PHASES OF FAITH
1. Dream
Exodus 3:10 - Now I am sending you to the king of Egypt so that you can lead my people out of his country.
2. Decision
Exodus 9:1 - Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh and tell him, ‘Thus says the Lord God of the Hebrews: “Let My people go… ”
3. Delay
Exodus 7:14 - So the Lord said to Moses: “Pharaoh’s heart is hard; he refuses to let the people go.”
4. Difficulties
Exodus 13:17 - When Pharaoh finally let the people go, God did not lead them along the main road … even though that was the shortest route to the Promised Land … [18] So God led them in a roundabout way through the wilderness toward the Red Sea.
5. Dead End
Exodus 14:10 - As Pharaoh approached, the people of Israel looked up and panicked when they saw the Egyptians overtaking them. They cried out to the Lord, [11] and they said to Moses, “Why did you bring us out here to die in the wilderness?”
6. Deliverance
Exodus 14:13 - But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again.”
Psalm 37:5&7 - Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him to help you do it and He will. Be still before the Lord, wait patiently for Him to act.

1 Corinthians 1:10 - I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.
TEAM WORK MAKES DREAMS WORK
1. We Accomplish More
Ecclesiastes 4:9 - Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. [10] If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.
2. We Receive The Commanded Blessing
Psalm 133:1 - How wonderful it is, how pleasant, for God's people to live together in harmony! Psalm 133:3 - For there the Lord commanded the blessing — Life forevermore.
3. We Inspire Greater Greatness
Hebrews 10:24 - Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. [25] And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

God Is With Us

God Is For Us
Romans 8:31 - What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
God Is In Us
1 Corinthians 3:1 - Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
THE BLESSINGS OF GOD WITH US …
1. Surprised By The Spirit
Matthew 1:18 - Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.
2. Guided By God
Matthew 1:19 - Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. [20] But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
3. Forgiven By Our Father
Matthew 1:21 - And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

The Gift – Part 1

John 1:14 - And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:14 - The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. (MSG)
John 17:20 - I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; [21] that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
WHEN THE WORD BECOMES FLESH...
1. Today Becomes A New Beginning
John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God.
2. Creativity Happens
John 1:3 - All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
3. Life Becomes Abundant
John 1:4 - In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
John 10:10 - The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
4. Light Overcomes Darkness
John 1:4 - In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John 8:12 - Then Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Matthew 5:14 - You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Rejoice always, (17) pray without ceasing, (18) in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
HOW TO BE THANKFUL DAILY
1. Thankful For The Who

1 Samuel 17:34-36 - But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, (35) I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it. (36) Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.”
