Believe – Say – Do: Week 1
Scott Young.com ~ Pastor of Hope
1 Corinthians 13:13 - And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Hope Is What You Believe
Faith Is What You Say
Love Is What You Do
1. What Is My Hope?
What are my positive beliefs?
Romans 15:13 - Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 4:18 - Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”
2. What Is My Faith?
What will I say?
Romans 10:8 - But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach).
Romans 10:9 - That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised
Him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation.
Matthew 21:22 – And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.
3. What Is My Love?
What will I do?
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 14:15 - Jesus said to his disciples: “If you love me, you will do as I command.”
1 John 3:18 - Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

You Belong Here – Week 4
Scott Young.com ~ Pastor of Hope
Luke 19:1 Jesus entered Jericho and made his way through the town.
Luke 19:2 - There was a man there named Zacchaeus. He was the chief tax collector in the region, and he had become very
Luke 19:5 - When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name. “Zacchaeus!” he said. “Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today.”
LESSONS FROM ZACCHAEUS
1. You Belong No Matter What Religious People Think About You
Luke 5:29 - Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them. [30] But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, "Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and 'sinners'?"
2. You Belong No Matter What Gets In Your Way
Luke 19:3 - He tried to get a look at Jesus, but he was too short to see over the crowd. [4] So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree beside the road, for Jesus was going to pass that way.
3. You Belong Because God Calls You By Name
Luke 19:5 - When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name. “Zacchaeus!” he said. “Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today.”
Luke 19:6 - Zacchaeus quickly climbed down and took Jesus to his house in great excitement and joy.
4. You Belong So That You Can Fulfill Your Destiny
Luke 19:8 - Meanwhile, Zacchaeus stood before the Lord and said, “I will give half my wealth to the poor, Lord, and if I have cheated people on their taxes, I will give them back four times as much!”
Luke 19:9 - Jesus responded, “Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a true son of Abraham. [10] For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.”

3. You Will Live In A Community Of Peace.
