Faith is God-given CONVICTION based on a VISION that produces ACTION.
“By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.” – Hebrews 11:4
BACKGROUND
“But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” - Genesis 2:17
“Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.” – Genesis 3:7
“So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” – Genesis 3:10

1. Faith Centers On God

WAYS OF LISTENING TO THE LORD
1. God’s Word
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” - 2 Timothy 3:1
2. Voice Of The Holy Spirit
“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.” - John 16:13 “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.” - Romans 8:14
3. Spiritual Gifts
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit … to another prophecy. – 1 Corinthians 12:7-1

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE LET JESUS IN
1. The Ordinary Becomes Extraordinary
Matthew 21:2-3 – Jesus said…, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me. And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them.’”
2. Joy Fills The Atmosphere
Matthew 21:8-9 – “And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: ‘Hosanna to the Son of David! “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!” Hosanna in the highest!’”
Matthew 21:10 – “And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, ‘Who is this?’”
3. Jesus Cleans Things Up
